Tessy Ojo CBE is an industry-leading civil society leader, campaigner, and third-sector leader. Admired for her role as the Chief Executive Officer of The Diana Award, she has become responsible for developing the organisation’s services, direction, and programmes. As the first British National to be awarded The Martine Luther King Award, Tessy has taken the industry by storm and is admired for her inspirational leadership style. Beginning her professional career as a System Analyst for IBM in 1995, Tessy gained vast amounts of experience at the business before securing the role of Head of Finance and Operations at The Diana Award. Dedicated to working her way up the ranks, she later advanced to become the Director of Operations before becoming the accomplished Chief Executive Officer of The Diana Awards. Leading the organisation and providing its visions and values, Tessy is treasured for the positive change she has implemented throughout the charity.

Alongside her high-profile role at The Diana Awards, Tessy is the Chair of the #iwill Leadership Board, an organisation which aims to enable youth social action to become normal for the younger generation. Having also been a Board Member for companies such as Comic Relief, the UK Council for Child Internet Safety, and BBC Worldwide, her powerful advocacy on numerous important topics is being shared with professionals in a variety of different industries. Now also the Founder of Tessy’s Brunches, Tessy has created a space for unseen women to be visible through networking and mentoring opportunities.
