Shivani Uberoi is an inspirational leadership keynote speaker known for helping leaders create workplaces where people feel a true sense of belonging and the confidence to thrive. Her work focuses on inclusion, emotional fitness and human behaviour, grounded in senior leadership experience and lived reality. Shivani speaks with warmth and authority, encouraging leaders to build cultures where authenticity strengthens trust, performance and long-term success. Her message is clear, inclusive leadership begins with the courage to show up as yourself and to create space for others to do the same.
Shivani began her career in finance, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant before moving into senior corporate leadership roles. Her journey into inclusion began during her time at Sky, where she witnessed inequality in the workplace and wider society and set out to drive meaningful change. In 2016, Shivani was appointed Head of Women in Leadership at Sky, leading the organisation’s gender parity strategy across a 26,000-strong workforce. She founded Women@Sky and Multiculture@Sky, two employee networks that continue to shape culture today. Under her leadership, Sky was recognised as the UK’s most inclusive employer, receiving multiple external awards including the WISE Award presented by HRH The Princess Royal.
After leaving Sky, Shivani qualified as a leadership and executive coach specialising in neuroscience, placing human behaviour and emotional awareness at the centre of culture change. She is the Founder and Director of The Wallflower Academy, a social enterprise working with organisations through storytelling, coaching and masterclasses to build inclusive cultures. The business reinvests profits into charities including Pregnant Then Screwed, reinforcing Shivani’s commitment to social impact. She also sits on the boards of Agenda Alliance and Careers After Babies, influencing policy and practice around gender equality and parental inclusion.
As a speaker, Shivani is known for delivering sessions that are both practical and deeply inspiring. Her talks draw on her lived experience as a British South Asian woman navigating male-dominated environments and as a parent of a child with additional mental health needs. She challenges leaders to rethink what belonging really means at work and why wellbeing must be central to inclusion. A TEDx speaker, Shivani delivered her talk ‘Why Fitting In Will Screw You Up’, which forms the foundation of her forthcoming book ‘Unlocking Authenticity’. She currently serves as Inclusion Lead for the England and Wales Cricket Board, advising major organisations while inspiring leaders to lead with empathy, purpose and conviction.
