Marek Tomalak is an internationally experienced marketing executive and business leader who currently serves as the Global Chief Marketing Officer of SodaStream at PepsiCo. Recognised for driving brand growth, innovation and creative transformation across global markets, Marek has built a career working with some of the world’s most influential consumer brands, including Nestlé, Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo. With extensive experience leading multinational teams across Europe and emerging markets, he is hired as an inspirational leadership speaker for his expertise in strategic marketing, innovation, adaptability and building high-performing global cultures in rapidly evolving industries.

Marek’s career began with a strong academic foundation in economics and business studies at the University of Bremen before entering the FMCG sector with Nestlé Polska as a Marketing Assistant within confectionery. He later joined Procter & Gamble, where he started as an Associate Brand Manager for OLAY Poland. Through a combination of strategic thinking and commercial insight, Marek progressed steadily through the organisation, eventually becoming Brand Marketing Manager for the company’s laundry business across Eastern Europe and later Central Europe North. His experience managing large-scale international campaigns and regional brand strategy gave him a strong understanding of consumer behaviour, market positioning and leadership within complex multinational organisations.

Marek later joined PepsiCo as a Marketing Senior Manager for carbonated soft drinks and has since risen through a series of senior leadership positions across the business. His international career has included serving as Vice President of Marketing across Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the Caucasus and Central Asia before becoming Vice President of Marketing Beverages Europe and Head of PepsiCo’s in-house creative and design teams. In 2024, he was appointed Global Chief Marketing Officer for SodaStream, leading the global marketing strategy for one of PepsiCo’s most innovative brands. Alongside his executive leadership roles, Marek has also contributed to wider business and industry conversations through interviews and features with publications including Business Ukraine magazine, Kyiv Post, the European Business Association Ukraine and KPMG Review Magazine.
