Katherine Moloney is an award-winning pilot, entrepreneur and inspirational leadership keynote speaker, best known as the Founder & CEO of Elevate(her) Aviation, a global organisation dedicated to increasing the number of women pursuing careers across aviation. A qualified helicopter and fixed-wing pilot, Katherine has built a reputation for inspiring individuals and organisations to challenge limitations, embrace opportunity and lead with confidence. Recognised as a Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2026 honouree, IATA High Flyer Award 2025 winner and respected advocate for women in STEM, Katherine has become one of the leading voices encouraging the next generation of aviation professionals while helping organisations understand the value of inclusive, high-performing leadership. Katherine discovered her passion for flying as a teenager and quickly immersed herself in aviation, earning her Private Pilot’s Licence for helicopters before later qualifying as a fixed-wing pilot. Alongside developing her flying career, she built extensive commercial experience as Marketing Director at Transair Flight Equipment, where she combined strategic marketing expertise with a deep understanding of the aviation industry. Between 2021 and 2023 she served as a Department for Transport Aviation Ambassador, working to promote aviation careers and encourage greater diversity across the sector. Inspired by her own experiences of entering a traditionally male-dominated profession, Katherine launched Elevate(her) Aviation in 2023 after recognising the need for stronger communities, visible role models and accessible resources for women pursuing aviation careers. What began as a small networking event has since grown into a global organisation supporting thousands of members across 144 countries, creating opportunities for pilots, engineers, air traffic controllers and aspiring aviation professionals worldwide.

As the organisation has expanded, Katherine has established herself as one of aviation’s most influential communicators and advocates. Through an entirely organic social media presence of more than 700,000 followers, she has inspired hundreds of thousands of people by documenting her flying journey, sharing educational aviation content and championing greater representation within the industry. Her achievements have earned widespread recognition, including the IATA High Flyer Award, selection in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2026, the AirLeague Framed Address for Outstanding Contribution to Aviation and Aerospace, finalist positions in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Female Founder of the Year and the Women in STEM Awards, alongside representing UN Women UK as a CSW68 Delegate.
