Juan Verde is a globally respected strategist, sustainability advocate, and former advisor to Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. With a distinguished career spanning government, business, and non-profit leadership, he has dedicated his life to advancing sustainable economic growth and climate action. As the founder and president of the Advanced Leadership Foundation, he has helped train and inspire thousands of leaders around the world to drive positive social and environmental impact. Juan’s academic foundation in political science and international relations from Boston University, followed by a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard Kennedy School, shaped his lifelong commitment to public service and global collaboration. His early career included fellowships and analytical roles within the US Department of Commerce and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, where he developed expertise in international trade and economic policy. His work with Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project and participation in UN Climate Conferences have made him a leading voice in environmental innovation.
