Jamil Qureshi

Jamil Qureshi is widely recognised as one of the foremost authorities on performance psychology and inspirational leadership. As the first ever official psychologist to the European Ryder Cup team, Jamil helped shape a record equalling victory and redefined how elite teams approach pressure, belief and collective responsibility. He has since supported six individuals to achieve World Number 1, applying the same principles of ownership and mindset to leaders in business. Jamil’s work centres on a simple idea, that world class performance begins with changing how people think about themselves and their role in a team.

Jamil began his career in elite sport in 2006, quickly earning a reputation for his ability to translate psychology into practical results. Beyond the Ryder Cup, he has worked with 22 golfers inside the world’s top 50, Premiership football clubs, Formula 1 drivers and international cricketers. Ranked among the most influential figures in British sport, he was named one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Men in Golf by his peers. These experiences shaped Jamil’s leadership philosophy, that sustainable success is driven by clarity, personal accountability and the courage to challenge limiting beliefs.

Alongside sport, Jamil is the Founder of JQED Ltd, a boutique performance consultancy advising blue chip organisations across sectors. He is also Co-Founder of We Do Things Differently, a change consultancy focused on meaningful cultural transformation, and Co-Founder of The Growing Coaches, connecting high quality coaches with ambitious organisations. In 2025, he became Non Executive Board Member of Chelmsford City Football Club, extending his leadership influence into governance. Jamil has delivered leadership programmes for global brands including Coca Cola, Emirates, Marks & Spencer and Lloyds Banking Group, helping senior teams embed ownership and raise performance standards.

As a keynote speaker, Jamil has delivered over 1,000 talks in 24 countries to more than a quarter of a million people.
