Gordon Tredgold

Gordon Tredgold is an internationally recognised leadership expert, transformation consultant and keynote speaker who helps organisations stop talking about change and start delivering measurable results. With a career spanning more than 30 years, Gordon has led complex turnarounds and multi-billion dollar transformation programmes for global organisations including DHL, Henkel, Fujitsu, Allianz, Vodafone, NBC and Baxter. Known as “The Closer” for his ability to rescue struggling projects and transform underperforming teams, he has helped businesses save more than $350 million while improving performance by as much as 500%. After graduating with a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Manchester, Gordon began building his expertise in project management, testing and programme leadership with organisations including Barclays Bank, Barclaycard, London Electricity and Britannia Airways. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, he developed a reputation for successfully leading large-scale transformation projects across complex international businesses. He later held senior positions with DHL Information Services and DPWN Global Business Services before becoming Deputy CIO, Transformation Director and Head of Support Services at DHL IT Services in 2006. In 2008, Gordon joined Henkel as Corporate Vice President of Global IT Service Delivery, where he significantly improved operational performance, increasing on-time business project delivery from 35% to more than 85% while reducing system outages by 70%. Alongside his corporate leadership career, he also studied Global Strategic Management at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Building on decades of transformation experience, Gordon became CEO and Managing Consultant at Leadership Principles LLC in 2019, where he advises organisations on leadership development, organisational design and programme recovery. He has also served as a Leadership Consultant for WestRock Company, contributor to Entrepreneur Media and Inc. Magazine, member of the Forbes Coaches Council and External Advisory Board Member at CEOWORLD Magazine. Gordon is the creator of the FAST framework, centred on focus, accountability, simplicity and transparency, which has become widely recognised for helping leaders improve execution and performance. His bestselling book FAST: 4 Principles Every Business Needs was shortlisted for the Chartered Management Institute Management Book of the Year Award.
