Ben Price

Ben Price is a former British Army Intelligence Corps soldier, entrepreneur, performance coach and author whose career has been shaped by leadership in challenging environments. Having completed four operational deployments across Afghanistan and Iraq, Ben now applies the lessons developed through military service to helping founders, leaders and high performers fulfil their potential. As Founder and Chief Coach of Initiators UK, he draws on more than 10,000 hours of coaching experience with over 400 individuals. Ben is hired as an inspirational leadership speaker for his insights into resilience, mindset, decision making and performing effectively when pressure is high.

Ben’s commitment to helping others began in 2007 when he volunteered as a sports coach with Projects Abroad, supporting young people in underprivileged communities in Cape Town. In 2011, he joined the British Army Intelligence Corps, beginning almost eight years of military service that included four deployments across Afghanistan and Iraq. Following his Army career, Ben developed his expertise in physical and psychological performance, completing Exercise Specialist studies with the European Institute of Fitness and later studying Sports Therapy at the University of Chichester. In 2018, he became Owner and Head Coach of Witterings Fitness, combining his military experience with coaching to support people pursuing ambitious personal and professional goals.

Ben has since developed an extensive career in performance and leadership coaching. In 2025, he founded Initiators UK, where he works with entrepreneurs, executives and high performers to strengthen their mindset, behaviours and ability to take meaningful action. His leadership has received industry recognition, including becoming a finalist for Business Leader of the Year, SME at the 2024 British Ex-Forces in Business Awards and a finalist at the 2026 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards. Beyond business, Ben is an Ironman triathlete, has completed the Ötillö swimrun in Sweden and cycled 650 kilometres across Cambodia to help fund the construction of a school.

Ben is hired as a speaker for his ability to translate extraordinary experiences into practical lessons for leaders and teams. As the author of Conversations with a Suicide Bomber and host of The Ben Price Experience, he explores human behaviour, resilience and performance through experiences spanning conflict zones, entrepreneurship and endurance sport. His talks challenge audiences to examine how they respond to adversity, take ownership and continue performing when circumstances become uncomfortable.
