David Jones

David began his journalism career as a news reporter for the Derbyshire Times in Chesterfield, covering local stories including Chesterfield FC’s memorable FA Cup run in 1997. In 1998, he joined Sky Sports for the launch of Sky Sports News, marking the beginning of a long and successful broadcasting career. By 2002, he had been promoted to Presenter on Sky Sports News, developing a reputation for clarity, professionalism and calm authority under pressure.

In 2007, David became the host of Sky’s Football League coverage before moving into live Premier League presentation in 2010.
