Katy Leeson

Katy Leeson is an inspirational leadership keynote speaker, growth coach and marketing consultant, known for her honesty, clarity and emotional intelligence. She began her career as an Account Manager at Feather Brooksbank, then moved to MediaCom North, where she rose to become Head of New Business & Marketing by 2015, mastering strategy, business development and client relationships. In 2016 she joined Social Chain as Operations Director, and within nine months was promoted to Managing Director, leading a dramatic expansion of the team from around 30 to over 130, building the business into one of the UK’s most celebrated social media agencies. Katy oversaw high-profile client work with brands such as Coca-Cola, Warner Music and Boohoo, helping Social Chain become a household name in the marketing world.

After nearly five years leading Social Chain, Katy became CEO of Relentless Group in 2022, leading Gary Neville’s media business, steering its media strategy, growing Salford City FC’s fanbase, and launching The Overlap, one of YouTube’s most popular UK sports shows. In parallel, she has embraced roles as a fractional CMO and growth coach for fast-growing brands, lending her insights in marketing strategy, digital performance and content development to brands like Nadine Merabi, Luxe Collective and Glowwa.

Katy’s leadership and influence have been widely recognised – she was an IPA Women of Tomorrow Finalist in 2016, named LinkedIn Top Voice in 2019 and 2020, honoured as a Campaign Female Frontier in 2020, and included in Business Live’s 22 Women in Leadership list and the Northern Power Women rankings.
